Supermodel Heidi Klum is well known for her love of Halloween and extravagant, over-the-top costumes. Whether it’s as the apple and the serpent from the Garden of Eden, an alien transformer or an ape, she goes all out for her favorite holiday.

This year, for her 13th annual Halloween Party, the fashion mogul’s Cleopatra costume promises to be equally, if not more, magnificent than all the rest. With colorful crystal patterns applied to her face, gold scales, sparkle and a large headpiece, Klum is meticulous about the detail from head-to-toe.

Perhaps the most exciting part is the behind-the-scenes video that she published on her AOL page yesterday in which we get to see all of the months of prep work that goes into designing the perfect costume. We’re totally jealous—how fun does this look? Oh, and Heidi, we’re still awaiting our invite in the mail…
