Kristin Stewart walked the red carpet at the premiere for the latest installment of “The Twilight Saga” (that would be Breaking Dawn Part I, for the uninitiated) in the type of edgy, yet romantic look that’s fast becoming her signature. Indeed, Fekkai Celebrity Stylist Adir Abergel was inspired by Stewart’s usual tousled and textured style in dreaming up the twisted and braided look he created for the evening. He began with spray gel, applied to the roots of the hair, to build texture. Next, he misted on a wave spray and rough dried the hair to lend it a beachy finish. Leaving the very top loose, he braided and twisted random sections of hair and wound and knotted those into an updo secured with hairpins to achieve the undone effect he was after. Abergel finished by backcombing the front of the hair for volume, then pushing it back and pinning it in place before spritzing on hairspray for lasting hold.
