They may look like blonde streaks, but the highlights gracing models’ hair at Cynthia Rowley’s Spring 2011 show were actually light, iridescent metallic hair extensions. Created by Wella Professionals Lead Color Ambassador, Aura Friedman of NYC’s Serge Normant salon, and her team of colorists prior to the show, the extensions were first lightened with Wella Blondor and Extra Cool Blondes and then infused with color from the Color Touch and Koleston Perfect Special Blondes collections. The resulting pieces of hair boasted incredible tone and intense shine. They proved the perfect complement to the models’ sleek updos—low ponytails that were twisted, tucked, pinned, decorated with colored clips and finished with Wella Professionals High Hair 45 Seconds Styler hairspray and High Hair Gloss Serum for hold and shine.
