An intimate conversation between me and my hair…

ME: I’d love a good hair day today.
FRIZZ: Don’t think so.
ME: But there’s zero humidity!
FRIZZ: Doesn’t matter.
ME: Please behave for once. I need good hair today.
FRIZZ: There’s no way around it, baby, I’m “in” right now anyway.
ME: Don’t you understand? Frizz is never in. Never, ever.

ME: I’m breaking out the flat iron.
FRIZZ: You can bring the heat but it won’t totally deter me. Plus you’re hair is fried. I’ve talked to your flat iron—she needs a rest.
ME: This is ridiculous. I’m trying something new.
FRIZZ: Heard that before. What is it? A gel? A Wax? Bring it on.
ME: I got a sample from work. I’m testing it out.
FRIZZ: Again, all old news. I’m here to stay.
ME: (Rumbling in purse) Here is it…Moroccanoil Frizz Control.
FRIZZ: Frizz control? Ha! Control? You can’t force me to be something I’m not.
ME: I will never stop trying. I work at a magazine called The Hair Book. I should not have this much trouble.
FRIZZ: Doesn’t matter.
ME: Okay, here we go. Smells good. “Hold 10 inches from head and spray 3-4 times.”
FRIZZ: I don’t feel any different.
ME: It says “Then comb through hair”
