Sebastian Professional Lead Stylist, Janine Jarman, whipped up these 40s-inspired styles to complement KRELwear designer Karelle Levy’s one-of-a-kind, shredded hand-knits at the recent Rock Fashion Week in Miami. To get the look, Jarman began by applying Sebastian Professional Thickefy Foam to damp hair and blow-drying. Then, starting in the back, she misted one-inch sections of hair with Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray before wrapping each around a medium barrel curling iron and pinning itto set. She repeated the same maneuver along the front of the head with half-inch sections of hair and a small barrel curling iron. Once all the hair was curled and pinned, she sprayed it lightly with Sebastian Professional Re-Shaper and allowed it to set for 15 minutes. After removing the clips, she back combed the hair at the roots to boost volume and sculpted the hair into its finished style. More Re-Shaper was used to lock the look in place. While Levy’s knits may look distressed, when it comes to her models’ manes, there’s not a hair out of place.
