Swedish alt-new-wave rockers The Sounds made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live this past Monday. Maja Ivarsson, the band’s front-woman and new face of Sebastian Color Ignite, performed in this chic bouffant. The look was created for her by Sebastian Stylist Design Team Member Janine Jarman. Here, her how-tos:

1. Saturate hair with Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray from roots to ends.
2. Add two pumps of Sebastian Professional Texturizer to strands from mid-shaft to ends.
3. Blow-dry hair by flat wrapping with a Denman brush until completely dry.
4. Sectioning 2-inch by 2-inch, spritz Sebastian Professional Trilliant before curling each section with a flat iron for beachy texture.
5. Shake the curls loose with fingers. Gather all of the hair to the right side and begin a loose coil from behind the ear (approx 1-inch below occipital bone) all the way around to the other ear.
6. Bobby pin the coiled ends in a circle formation in the middle of the head, pinning along the coil as you go.
7. Finish by pulling a few face-framing strands out and spraying with Sebastian Professional Shaper Zero Gravity.
8. Add a decorative barrette about the coiled circle in the back for extra flair.
