Nicki Minaj is the latest celeb to put her name to a collection of OPI nail colors. The platinum recording artist debuted six limited edition shades this month, all inspired by her singular style and her debut album, Pink Friday. The collection includes a lineup of very Nicki-ish hues: Pink Friday (a bubblegum pink), Metallic 4 Life (a charcoal sparkle), Save Me (a silver rainbow glitter), Fly (a fab aqua), Did It On ’Em (an awesome lime), plus Super Bass Shatter (a purple top coat that lends tips a cracked, graffiti-like finish when painted over dry nail color). Explaining why Minaj was the ideal style partner, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI’s Executive VP & Artistic Director says, “Nicki has taken the hip hop world by storm, but her music is only part of the equation. She’s also become a fashion inspiration, noted for her daring costumes and hair color both on and off the stage.”
