Runway stylist and Redken creative consultant, Guido Palau, found inspiration for the hair at Bottega Veneta in the shower, so to speak.
“This line for Bottega Veneta is a very modern work wear-inspired collection and the designer wanted a very natural, American beauty to complement it. This look represents a woman on the go, rushing out of her apartment on the way to work and letting her hair dry naturally.” To create the usually temporary style—but with staying power—Palau created a messy center part, then dampened the entire head with water sprayed from a bottle. Then, working in small sections, he scrunched in Redken aerate 08 bodifying cream mousse and allowed hair to air dry.
Of course, if this just-showered look isn’t convincing enough, you can just hop in the stall and get it for real.
