Regardless of the season, braids are a go-to hairstyle because they compliment any outfit and are a cinch to do.  This summer especially, braids have become more creative than the traditional down-the-back plait.  Our favorite right now is the cascade, or waterfall, braid, which we saw on Maegan Tintari’s blog. It’s a loose and pretty way to keep your hair off your face without a full-on updo. We know trying a new braid can be a little tricky but the cascade braid has a similar rhythm to a French braid, so your fingers should be able to pick up on it quickly.  Check out this straightforward tutorial to help you out.
