Clients routinely ask me about texture services (aka perms) while showing me pictures of Jessica Simpson, Miley Cyrus and Giselle Bündchen, their hair in big fat ringlets or loose sexy waves.
For the record, these looks are courtesy of talented stylists NOT perms. That’s not to say a texture service isn’t a good idea. A well-executed perm can help deliver the style support and volume required to replicate a range of star-worthy styles. Ask your stylist what curl and wave patterns are achievable via a texture service—and what kind of additional styling each will require. No perm is completely wash and wear. Most call for some amount of blowdrying (on a low setting with a diffuser attachment to minimize frizz), product application (I recommend TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock and Redken Fresh Curls collections) and elbow grease to deliver a specific curly or wavy look.
Keep all this in mind and that texture service can get you one step closer to the celeb style you crave.

I have curly hair and it would nice if you featured an article on how to care for and style curly hair and not just how to straighten curly hair.
I have curly hair. They are thin and forked. Every day I put them mousse, otherwise they are similar to dandelion. But because of the mousse are tough and dry. I really want to grow long hair. But they have forks and they have to shear off
How can I do? What kind of care recommend?
some styling recommend to clear curls?
