Is the world ready for the return of huge, teased,1960s-style hair? Adele is a big fan of the look, and so is H&M’s newly named fall fashion icon, Lana Del Rey. But lots of other celebs have been stepping out with high hair, including Sarah Jessica Parker and Cheryl Cole. Fashion and beauty trends always circle back around, so it’s not surprising that jacked-up hair—a favorite of both Marie Antoinette and Jackie Kennedy—is making a return. The hairspray-heavy style is certainly glamorous, but do you think it deserves a comeback?

I lived through the big hair once already in my life. I don’t think it bears repeating. Big hair, with all the hairspray is so difficult to brush out. Ever sat behind a person with big hair/ you can’t see around all that hair.
I am gag me sick of slick, flat, greasy, stringy hair on stars and models in mags. Vogue set the trend with the Adele cover in February/March 2012. Big hair a la Raquel Welch and Farrah Fawcett was gorgeous! Adele’s hair at the Grammy’s was a little overdone, a bit more tame at the Royal Albert Hall performance, but was identical to a friend of mine’s hair in the latter 1960′s. We are in a time of austerity and big hair is lush, exuberant, and can be worn up, down, and braided as in The Hunger Games. Let’s get some style back, as well as luscious hair.
