Last week, we took a look at the futuristic ponytails sported by models at Alexander Wang’s Spring/Summer 2013 show. And although they’re very cool-looking thanks to the silvery tape down the middle part, they’re not exactly the most applicable to every day life. But since low ponytails have been a staple on the runways recently, we wanted to showcase some of the more traditional and elegant looks as seen at Laura Smalls’ Spring/Summer 2012 show last week. Created by stylist David Glover this style features a deep side part and hair swept across the side of the face, instantly adding more sophistication to the average ponytail. And although a side ponytail typically makes us have flashbacks to the 80’s, this low side ponytail is a lovely combination of the feminine and chic—and definitely on our list of looks to try!
