Wearing an Edition by Georges Chakra one-shoulder dress, Carrie Underwood hit the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards red carpet looked like a more stunning version of herself (if that’s even possible!). Her gown was the perfect mixture of feminine and fresh, but what made the look modern, in my eyes, was the hair and makeup. Her blonde layered shoulder grazing locks were sleek and side-swept with volume at the crown and a little flip at the ends—a nice departure from the more styled looks we’ve been seeing on her lately. The face framing fringe also called attention to her pretty peepers and set the stage for a dramatic smoky eye. Paired with pale lips and cheeks, it all added up to one perfectly polished songstress.
