At summer’s end, color-treated hair is often dry and damaged. To get the most gorgeous results before you re-color your hair—and to make your new color last up to two or three weeks longer—Regis Artistic Director Kat Carey, recommends you do some prep work first. Head to your Regis Salon for a Malibu MakeOver clarifying treatment to remove chlorine and mineral deposits, followed by a deep-conditioning Ultimate Repair Treatment to add moisture and strength, and, finally, a haircut to get rid of dry ends. Let your hair rest for a week. Now it’s time for your color appointment!
