I love it when a celebrity takes a risk with her hair—as actress Hayden Panettiere did recently when she traded in her long locks for this short do. The act demonstrates a degree of confidence and courage that’s generally in short supply among Hollywood starlets. Now, it’s difficult to tell from this pic exactly what the new style actually is (Pixie? Shag? A hybrid?), but whatever it is, I like it. The long-haired look quickly becomes predictable, so shaking it up definitely keeps things interesting. And if Panettiere eventually decides to grow it out, they’ll be lots of in-between styles to look forward to. But that’s just my opinion. How do you feel about the new do? Weigh in below…
