As if Kristen Stewart needed more attention, now the Twilight star has gone and dyed her hair Victoria-red—something that’s already garnered her a ton of press. Stewart debuted her new look—courtesy of celebrity colorist Marie Robinson—yesterday outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City at a taping of the Late Show With David Letterman. According to thehairbookonline.com’s blogger and stylist, Suzanne Sawyer, the look was achieved by lifting her dark brown hair color to something slightly lighter than her natural shade, then adding highlights at the top and brighter red accents on the ends to enhance the lines of the cut. As for the loose updo, Stewart’s stylist, Adir Abergel used and a one-inch curling iron and some wave spray to boost texture, then pulled the hair back into a knot at the nape of her neck, leaving lots of chin length layers framing her face. The best thing about the look? It’s easy enough to create and you don’t have to be the hottest actress on the planet to pull it off.
