Even cropped cuts require a stylist. At last night’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit (aka, the MET Ball) actress Carey Mulligan’s tomboy-ish do got the full styling treatment courtesy of Sebastian mane man, Thomas Dunkin. First Dunkin applied a generous amount of Sebastian Professional Potion 9 to Mulligan’s damp hair and blew it dry while coaxing it forward with a Mason Pearson brush. Next, he pin-curled the hair just in front of the ears and let it set for added texture. A dab of Sebastian Professional Matte Putty, worked through the finished curls and throughout the hair, kept the look modern and close to the head.
