Redken Creative Consultant Guido Palau whipped up this 60s-inspired lacquered egg-shaped chignon for Prada’s Fall 2010 runway show with a few key styling products (Thickening Lotion 06 Body Builder, Smooth Hardwear 16 Super Strong Gel), a couple of hair forming “donuts”, a generous amount of backcombing and lots of Forceful 23 Super Strength Finishing Spray (for mega hold and shine). “The look at Prada was all about classic French hairdressing done with a very chic uptown look and a nod to the 60s – a modern take on a classic, sophisticated look,” he said of the finished style.
